Time Reversal — The Arrow of Time

In classical physics, time flows only one way — from past to future. Entropy increases, ice melts, and we age forward.

But quantum mechanics challenges this one-way arrow.

Certain experiments suggest that, under specific conditions, the effects of a measurement can appear to influence the past.

In 2019, researchers at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) used a quantum computer to partially “reverse” the arrow of time, returning a system of qubits to a previous state.

While no physical clock was turned backward, the information in the system was reorganized — as if the quantum wave had remembered its earlier harmony.

Similarly, delayed-choice experiments (Wheeler, 1980s) show that decisions made in the present can determine the behavior of particles that, by all classical reasoning, should have already finished their journey.

If time is not linear, then every moment exists simultaneously — like frames in a cosmic film projected all at once.

What we call “the present” is not a point moving through time, but a window where consciousness selects what to experience.

From this view, destiny and free will are not opposites.

They are quantum partners — the wave and the particle of time itself.

To him, eternity (azal) is not endless duration but timeless presence — the same stillness at the heart of every moment.
